10DLC Campaign Website Review

10DLC Website Compliance Guide

When submitting a campaign, it’s essential to ensure your website is in an approvable state—especially if you’re using a webform as your opt-in method.

Campaigns that rely on webforms must meet specific compliance standards defined by TCR, the CTIA, and mobile carriers (especially T-Mobile) to pass review and avoid rejection fees.

🧭 Why This Matters

If your campaign includes a webform CTA, the website must clearly show consent language and privacy information. Failure to include required information may lead to rejection and a $15 passthrough fee for each re-review by carriers.

But don’t worry—Signal House reviews all campaigns first, and rejections at our level are free 😎

🔍 Message Flow Requirements

Anywhere you collect a phone number (e.g., forms like "Contact Us", "Demo Request", "Subscribe Now") must include:

  • Who is contacting you?

“You’re opting in to receive messages from [Your Company Name].”

  • What are you signing up for? (the message Use Case)

“These messages may include updates, reminders, offers, or support.”

  • When will you hear from us?

    “Message frequency may vary.”

  • Where can you get more info or bail out?

“Reply HELP for help or STOP to unsubscribe at any time.”

  • How is your data used?

“We value your privacy—read how we handle your data in our Privacy Policy.”

  • Cost

“Msg & data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.”

✅ Compliant Message Flow Examples:

  1. By clicking "Submit", you agree to Signal House’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. You consent to receive phone calls and SMS messages from Signal House. Message frequency depends on your activity. You may opt-out by texting "STOP". Message and data rates may apply. Reply "HELP" to receive help.

  2. By providing a telephone number and submitting the form you are consenting to be contacted by SMS text message. Message & data rates apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for more info. See our Privacy Policy.

  3. By checking this box and submitting your phone number you are authorizing Signal House to send you text messages and notifications. Message frequency may vary. Message/data rates apply. Reply "STOP" to unsubscribe. See our Privacy Policy here.

🔐 Privacy Policy Requirements

This is the most scrutinized piece of your campaign by carriers like T-Mobile. Your Privacy Policy must include:

✅ Required Sections:

  1. Opt-In & Opt-Out Process

    • Clearly state how users subscribe and unsubscribe.

    • Example:

Users submit their phone number via the “Request a Demo” form. By clicking "Submit", they consent to receive text messages from Signal House. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. HELP for support. Msg & Data rates may apply.

  2. No Data Sharing Statement

    • Example (recommended):

We do not share data with third parties for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

    • If sharing data is required by law, modify to:

Text messaging opt-in data is not shared with third parties except as required by law.

📌 Important: Copy these statements verbatim. Carriers may reject policies that paraphrase or leave out key phrases.

🚧 Common Mistakes to Avoid

❌ Mistake

✅ Fix

No mention of SMS consent

Add verbiage like “you consent to receive messages”

Missing “STOP”/“HELP” instructions

Add them to both form disclaimer and privacy policy

No Privacy Policy link

Add one—this is non-negotiable

Sharing data with 3rd parties

Clearly state that opt-in data is never shared

💡 Pro Tips

  • Use plain, readable language. Avoid legalese where possible.

  • Place the consent statement directly below your phone number input field.

  • Don’t bury consent in a general Terms of Use—make it explicit and accessible.
